So I haven’t posted in a while, so here’s a little picture dump to show ya’ll what I’ve been up to. I hate saying stuff like this because it makes me feel dumb, but I feel like my makeup skills have improved a lot in the past months.

Pictorial- That smokey eye with pop of color thing.

So I posted this tutorial on Reddit a couple days ago and it got lots of love, and I haven’t made a blog post in a LONG time. SO HELLO LETS GO.

 

Do you have an instagram? Do you constantly see girls doing that awesome smokey eye thing, but then they randomly throw some color in there?!?! HOW DO THEY DO THIS!?!?

This is how.

 

Primer. Importante.

 

Brows. Also muy importante.

 

SIIIIIIIIIII

 

Put on foundation that’s too dark. Be disappoint. 

 

Make your face an illusion.

 

Preen.

 

Eye primer and base shadow. (UD Pulp Fiction Palette <3)

 

Oh what’s this? We’re doing yellow?

 

YEAH I BET YOU THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO DO BLUE OR PURPLE. NAH WE GOIN’ IN ALL THE WAY SON.

 

After lightly applying your choice of color, use a dense brush to apply the color a bit more heavily in the inner corner.

 

Blend out a bit, then roughly apply a cool-toned brown/taupe thing on your outer V. (also not pictured, apply to 3/4’s of your lower lash line)

 

Blend out, don’t worry, it doesn’t have to look perfect. 

 

Add some black in the outer V and lower lash line. 

 

Blend. I use a MAC 217, I also add more black, a little at a time. 

 

WANGS. You can skip this step, it still looks bomb without the wings. 

 

KABOOM.

I did it, I swatched all the gel liners that we have in stock.

I’m also just gonna throw my review in here,

Pigmentation: 10/10
The color selection of these liners is incredible (my location doesn’t even carry every color!) and EVERY SINGLE COLOR is just as pigmented as the next, they are ALL perfection.

Consistency: 10/10
These are so creamy and thick, you can get the most defined, sharp, thin line ever, but you can also smudge them out, make em all sexylicious and edgy.

Inglot Freedom System Blush Swatches!

Hello! So as ya’ll know by now, I work for Inglot in Boston. I’ve been having so much fun and loving working for the brand!

 

So I try to swatch as much as I can, and I just swatched all the Freedom system blushes! Here they are!

Boom! I love these blushes, they’re super silky and easy to blend, some are way too bold for someone with as fair skin as I have, like 62-70.

All purple everything

So at work, every Friday we have a theme. Things like pin-up, 80’s, elements, etc. So this past Friday was Rainbow day (because of Boston pride going on) and I obviously chose purple!

I have Urban Decay’s Psychedelic Sister and Virgin on my eyes as well as Inglot’s 77 gel liner. I have NYX’s Macaron Lippie in Violet on my lips! And Anastasia Dipbrow in Auburn on my brows.

Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow #85

First pictures with the new camera, hold on to your hats! These are pictures from my first tutorial!! I’m editing it right now (it’s gonna be ROUGH but I’m gonna post it I swear) and should be posting it in the next day or two. My birthday is on Tuesday also! So I’ll be busy.

So, if you’ve been reading my blog, you know that I love this pigment, hard. It’s the love of my life and the reason I get up in the morning. And I’ve used it about 3 times this week, whoops.

So I did it up a little more dramatic, I packed it on, added a wing and lots of mascara, TAAA DAAA. The lipstick is Sephora Rouge Shine in No. 7.

I got a camera!

Hi guys! So I finally got a camera! I just made this really quickly and I don’t have any video editing software so it’s short. Look for videos and better quality videos soon!

Anyone have any suggestions for good video editing software for Windows?
